What can I watch with the Disney Plus bundle?

Even with all of the various services available today, finding a package that will cater to the preferences of whole family can still be a challenge.   While you could sign up for Disney Plus to keep the kids entertained, grab a Hulu subscription to catch up on the latest TV shows and pay for ESPN Plus to watch live sports, the Disney Plus bundle gives you access to all three streaming services in one monthly payment so you’ll have plenty of content to watch without breaking the bank.   For those that have been thinking of cutting the cord and canceling that expensive cable package once and for all, the three-in-one bundle makes a lot of sense. Why pay full price for multiple streaming services when you can get a discount and manage everything in one bill?  But while the Disney Plus bundle price is clearly competitive, does it have the programming that will satisfy everybody in the household? That's what we'll help you figure out here. What is the Disney P...

RTX 3090 Ti Founders Edition leak shows Nvidia’s future GPU plans aren't pretty

Several new leaks have emerged that give us a better idea of the upcoming Nvidia RTX 3090 Ti, which will likely be the most powerful – and expensive – gaming GPU in the world.  While the mighty Nvidia RTX 3090 Ti is likely to be a niche product, it could still be a very important release, as it may give us an idea of what future Nvidia GPUs will be like. If that is indeed the case, then these new leaks have got us a little bit worried.  The most recent leak shows off the Founders Edition of the Nvidia RTX 3090 Ti, a reference card made by Nvidia itself. While we were shown the Founders Edition at CES 2022 when the RTX 3090 Ti was first announced, things had gone a bit quiet on that front, and recent leaks concentrated on showing us aftermarket RTX 3090 Ti designs (and performance benchmarks) from third parties. This led some people to think that there may not be a Founders Edition of the RTX 3090 Ti after all, or at least not one for consumers to actually buy.   h...

Think Wordle is hard now? One woman saved it from being a lot tougher

Wordle's list of answers so far have included some real doozies. But if you think it's been walking the line of fiendishly difficult, it could've been outright hellish. Luckily for us all, an angel of mercy stepped in. Kinda.  Josh Wardle – self-proclaimed 'not a game developer' – took to the stage at GDC to talk about the inception of the brainteaser. Among the tidbits to come out of his talk is the story of how we narrowly avoided a list of nightmare words that verge on nonsense (via PC Gamer). Some of them don't even have entries in the online dictionary. As you can see from the list Wardle shared at the Game Developers Conference, our collective stress levels would've been off the charts. The streak-breaking pool of five-letter words includes such gems as eughs, golps, and dawts. I don't know what they mean, but they sound like the noises you'd make if they'd actually made the cut: "eughs, my three-month streak is ruined !"    T...

DJI's new business drone can be folded into a backpack

Drone giant DJI has unveiled its new series of enterprise-ready Matrice 30 drones that it says are more protable than ever.   Unlike other commercial drones, the DJI M30 has a foldable integrated lightweight design and has a 3.7kg take-off weight so that it is easy to unfold, store and carry anywhere - even in a backpack.  It also has a new self-heating TB30 battery design which supports at least 400 charge cycles and allows for a 41-minute flight time. The DJI M30 can even be recharged quickly as its smart BS30 charging case can refill its battery from 30 percent to 90 percent in just 30 minutes. The M30 series is actually available in two versions, the M30 and the M30T. While the M30 sports a 48MP megapixel 1/2” CMOS sensor camera with 5x – 16x optical zoom, a 12 megapixel wide-angle camera, 8K photo and 4K/30 fps video resolution and a laser rangefinder that can give precise coordinates of objects up to 1,200m away, the M30T also packs in an additional 640x512 px...

Should I buy the Google Nest Thermostat?

Google’s Nest is one of the biggest players in the smart heating market and is most well known for its Nest Learning Thermostat, which will automatically adjust your heating schedule after learning how long it takes your home to warm up and cool down, in a bid to save energy and money.   However, it’s also one of the most expensive smart thermostats on the market too.  If you can’t quite justify the $250 price tag of the Nest Learning Thermostat, then Nest has a more budget-friendly alternative. Called simply the Nest Thermostat, this is priced at a more approachable $130, yet looks and performs in a similar way.   The Nest Thermostat is currently only available in the US, where it replaced the similarly cheap Nest Thermostat E in November 2020. That model is still sold as Nest’s more budget-friendly thermostat in the UK. The vast majority of cyberattacks start with just an email

Around three-quarters (75%) of all cyberattacks start with a simple email message, a new report from Trend Micro has warned.  To tackle the problem, the company says businesses need to educate their employees on the dangers of phishing and other email-borne attacks, and how to defend not just themselves, but also their employer.  Unfortunately, workers are not shy of taking risks with their corporate emails, with home-based employees being particularly more prone to making email-related security mistakes on company endpoints, the report states. Threat actors are also quite aware of this fact, and are increasingly targeting them with weaponized emails. To that end, Trend Micro said it detected and prevented 25.7 million email threats last year, up from 16.7 million the year before. The volume of blocked phishing attempts, just on this platform, almost doubled for the period.  BEC, ransomware, cloud misconfigurations At the same time, the detection of business em...

Coming soon to Netflix: 7 new shows to look out for in 2022

It seems like Stranger Things , The Crown and Money Heist have been around since the beginning of time, but every one of those top-tier Netflix shows had to start somewhere.  With that in mind, we thought we’d take a look forward to the pilot projects currently in development for the streaming service in 2022 – from the next Shonda Rhimes production (after Bridgerton and Inventing Anna ) to a set of new high-octane espionage thrillers.  Below, we’ve collated the official synopses given to each upcoming Netflix series (credit to Deadline for digging them up), along with anything else we know about their cast, crew and potential release dates. Synopsis: “In the midst of an international crisis, a career diplomat lands in a high-profile job she’s unsuited for, with tectonic implications for her marriage and her political future."   https://wordpress.oise.utoronto.ca/arc/2013/12/01/negotiating-differentiated-roles-in-collaborative-inquiry-advice-please/#comment...

Google Photos update will improve your old Android snaps, but there’s a catch

Google Photos has long offered a 'Portrait blur' feature for adding bokeh to your people snaps, but now its Android app is bringing the effect to a lot more subjects –as long as you're a Pixel user or Google One subscriber.  The editing tool currently lets you add background blur to existing photos of people. But Google has announced that its Google Photos Android app is bringing the effect to lots of new subjects, including pets, food and plants.  The catch, though, is that you'll need to either use a Pixel phone or subscribe to Google One to get the feature. The latter differs from free Google Drive cloud storage by being a paid subscription offering, with prices starting at $2 / £1.59 / AU$2.49 per month or $20 / £15.99 / AU$24.99 annually (for 100GB storage). If you try to use the feature without a Google One subscription, you'll be unable to save the photo.    https://asktom.oracle.com/pls/apex/f?p=100:11:116104705000904::::P11_QUESTION_ID:9540356000346578...
