Zoom could owe you a pay-out after court ruling over privacy breaches

Zoom has settled a class-action lawsuit that alleged the company was in breach of privacy laws and put its users’ data at risk. As a result, it now needs to pay a small sum to all customers that can prove they were affected. 

The lawsuit alleged that the video conferencing app, Zoom Meetings, shared certain user information with third parties, did not do everything it could to prevent unwanted meeting disruption by third parties, and that the company falsely advertised its service as end-to-end encrypted.

In the legal notice of class-action settlement, which was published on the Zoom Meetings Class Action website, it was said that Zoom "denies any liability whatsoever, and believes that no member of the Settlement Class, including the Plaintiffs, has sustained any damages or injuries due to these allegations".

Dying Light 2 devs launch update, backtrack three hours later

 Dying Light 2’s recent 1.2 patch has not gone down well with fans, who are angry after the update nerfed one of the game’s best items.   Although intended as an easter egg, the Korek Charm has become beloved by players for effectively letting them bypass the game’s weapon’s degradation system. Weapons in Dying Light 2 degrade with use, requiring you to discard them and replace them with shiny new options.  While it’s possible to restore the durability of degraded weapons by equipping them with stat-boosting mods, each mod only restores a meager 50 durability points. The iPhone 14 launch is likely to mean the end for the iPhone 11

 The arrival of the iPhone 14 later this year will mean the iPhone 11 gets shunted out of Apple's smartphone range, according to one tipster – so if you want the older phone then you've got a few months left to get it direct from Apple.  Sources speaking to iDropNews say that the iPhone 11 will be gone after the iPhone 14 range appears – not only due to its age but also because it potentially takes away sales from the iPhone SE (2022) that Apple launched in March.  Apparently, the iPhone 11 has sold more than the new iPhone SE since the latter phone arrived.
